New Patient Center

Welcome to the Peak Balance Family Wellness New Patient Center

We are very excited to welcome you to our practice. Our goal is to provide you excellent chiropractic care combined with personalized customer service.

Your initial visit with us is a very important one. Please plan on 30 to 45 minutes for this appointment.

Initial Consultation

Unfortunately, all doctor’s appointments begin with paperwork. Feel free to save time and complete your New Patient Intake here! Once you have completed your paperwork, we will go over your current condition and health history with you. This allows us to confirm we have all the information we need to give you the best care possible.

Examination

Dr. Harlow will perform a thorough head-to-toe examination based on your complaints, health history, and goals for treatment. This exam will include neurologic, orthopedic, postural, reflex, and physical tests.

X-Ray Studies

Yes, we do refer patients for x-rays, but because you are exposed to a small amount of radiation, they are only taken if absolutely necessary. X-rays can help see what’s going on with your bones and other tissues structures. If indicated x-rays are taken at an off site imaging center and will be discussed with you prior to treatment.

Report of Findings

Once all the necessary information has been gathered, Dr. Harlow will sit down with you and go over all your results. Together, you will develop a treatment plan that is best suited for your medical needs, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Although we may not fully know how you will react to treatment until we start, you will have a good idea whether chiropractic can help you and how much treatment it will take to get you where you want to be. If you need a referral to another type of provider, Dr. Harlow will go over this as well and provide some names.

Treatment

Once a treatment plan is in place and all needed information has been obtained, you will begin treatment. This will usually be during your first visit. Your initial visit may include chiropractic adjustments, therapies, and/or soft tissue work.

All this, the Consultation, Exam, Report of Findings and first treatment are included in your initial visit. Peak Balance Family Wellness accepts most insurance or has very affordable cash rates. If you have additional question please do not hesitate to call.  719-360-6958

Testimonial

  • "My back has never felt better. Dr. Harlow took the pain away that I had been living with for over 20 years and didn't even realize it. I just went back again last week and it was another amazing experience. I sleep better than I have in a long time."
